Gordon's Girls Taste Success in the Zagat 2010 Restaurant Guide
Gordon and his two top female chefs Angela Hartnett (Murano, 20 Queen Street London W1 T: 0207 592 1222) and Clare Smyth (Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, 68 Royal Hospital Road, SW3 T: 0207 352 4441) are celebrating their success in the 2010 edition of the highly respected Zagat restaurant guide, which is published today.
Angela Hartnett’s restaurant Murano, which opened in September 2008, is named as Best Newcomer, and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay which opened in 1998, and where Clare Smyth has been head chef since 2007, again takes the honours for Top Food (held for 9 out of the last ten years).
Gordon gave the following reaction:

Zagat is the undisputed world leader of consumer survey based guides and to have my flagship restaurant come top for Food again is great news, and much deserved by the amazing Clare Smyth. It’s also fantastic news for Angela and her team at Murano, whose ever increasing success is a great source of pride and satisfaction, particularly given the timing of the restaurant’s launch”.
