York & Albany London's best buy
York & Albany received another exceptional review in The Evening Standard this week.
Restaurant critic, David Sexton awarded a coveted five stars. On the £15 set lunch menu he commented, “if it doesn’t rate five stars, I don’t know what does”.
Sexton remarked that the lunch “would have been good value at twice the price: a perfect, simple starter of the tenderest beef carpaccio with rocket and parmesan, dressed in great olive oil, followed by a gratifyingly hoggish dish of braised pork belly with black pudding and sautéed potatoes and then a tangy lemon posset with raspberry coulis.”
