Michael West

Michael joined the Gordon Ramsay Holdings team in April 2001 assisting in the opening of Gordon's restaurant Amaryllis in Glasgow. He then worked at Pétrus for Marcus Wareing for a short period before joining Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's as Restaurant Manager in September 2001. When Stuart Gillies then opened the exciting new Boxwood Café in May 2003, Michael came on board to manage the enthusiastic team.

His wealth of experience has been utilized across the restaurants and he has always maintained a strong relationship with the individual teams. He has now concentrated his skills at maze, working closely with Jason Atherton to promote a new dining concept which has already been rewarded with its first Michelin star.
