In April 2008, Gordon Ramsay Holdings Ltd bought the UK’s oldest independent cookery school, along with Lyndy Redding of Absolute Taste and Andrew Maxwell, the schools Principal.

Established over 50 years ago, Tante Marie has built up an enviable reputation both in the UK and internationally. With five kitchens, demonstration theatre and class rooms it is renowned for its expertise in teaching aspiring chefs key cookery skills. Tante Marie is most famous for its Diploma and Certificate Courses especially popular amongst those with an ambition for working in the hospitality sector. These courses, whilst being an instrumental part of Tante Marie’s evolution, will be continually refreshed and updated by a team of highly talented and professional teaching staff, so that they always meet the requirements of this demanding and ever evolving industry. Students on Tante Marie’s Diploma and Certificate courses will experience classes hosted by some of the world’s great chef’s, including many from both the Gordon Ramsay and Absolute Taste kitchens as well as Tante Marie’s own expert professional teachers.
